Rahden Films
Rahden Church was found in 1353 by the Mindener Bishop Gerhard I. Rahden was known as Großendorf until the early 20th Century. By December 1, 1900, the parish served 8,356: Großendorf (including Espelkamp) 2533, in Kleinendorf 1174, in Varl 1315, in Sielhorst 831, In Wehe 1188 and in Tonnenheide 1315. There were also 36 Roman Catholics and 67 Jewish (according to Gemeindebuch der Kreissynode Lübbecke pub. 1957). Following are the films that are available regarding the Rahden St. Johanneskirche. Preussich Ströhen was a part of the Rahden parish until 1847, when it received it's own church. Espelkamp has grown larger than the other towns and cities in the immediate area and in 1910 was granted its own standing awar from Großendorf.
